Skip Jones is a native Oregonian from the small town of McMinnville. He moved to the Portland area in his early 20’s. He has been married to his lovely wife Kristin for 27 years and has two sons.

Skip started in the security business 25 years ago, with a deep interest in electronics and a desire to provide clients with quality peace of mind security systems. He enjoyed working with the companies in his community, where he strived to build long standing working relationships. Eventually, he co-founded Pixel Security in 2005, from which sprang Cannabis Security. He wants to provide customers with thoughtfully designed solutions with outstanding value, while always maintaining care and attention to detail.

In his free time, Skip enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, doing outdoor activities, and working on cars.

Keith’s journey in to the security industry started when he was in high school taking college level Cisco networking classes. That’s when he was offered an apprenticeship with a DVR manufacturer. There he supported technicians in the field, built DVRs and learned a great deal about security. In 2005, after 4 years, he left the DVR manufacturer to co-found Cannabis Security’s sister company: Pixel Security. He holds certifications from Exacq Technologies, Sony, Axis, OnSSI, Honeywell, Control4, DMP, Brivo, Digital Watchdog, and Next Level Security Systems. He also has experience using Samsung/Hanwha Techwin, Arecont Vision, Microsoft Windows Platforms, Linux, and VMware. He is an Electrical Administrator in Washington and has been an Oregon LEA journeyman since 2018.

Keith has extreme passion for competitive Dodgeball and travels around the country to play against the best players.

Marie is the Office Manager at Cannabis Security, juggling the bookkeeping, project management, and marketing.   With a B.A. in Sociology from OSU, to over 20 years’ experience in various office roles working in industries that span from construction to health care.

Marie loves taking on new challenges and problem solving.  She is that word nerd/grammarphile (long live the Oxford comma!) that thrives on creating a new system to track or organize something. She’s a problem solver, an efficient multitasker, a document manipulator, and a process streamliner.

She is a Portland native, but grew up in the tourist mecca of Bend, Oregon. When not at the office, she wrangles her two young boys and husband into projects around the house and reassures herself she’s not a crazy cat lady.  Balance between work and life is key to happiness.
